Secrets of the 200 MPG Carburetor

04 April 2010 Categories: general

Dear Fellow Car Enthusiast:

Thanks for requesting this report on the “200 MPG Carburetor.”
It should inspire you. It may make you angry. It may answer some
of your questions, while raising a few more. For example.

These questions have been running through my mind, How about
you? Is the motoring public the victim of a cruel,
profit-motivated rip-off…have carburetors been developed, but
suppressed by “big oil interests,” that are capable of giving
our cars and trucks better than 200 miles per gallon of
gasoline? Is there any truth in the rumor that there are cars on
the road today that actually get this fabled mileage?

FACT OR FICTION? DECIDE FOR YOURSELF

1. Reportedly between 1933 and 1936 a Canadian, Charles N.
Pogue, was a awarded a number of patents covering a new,
vaporization type carburetor. In 1936, he installed a working
model on 1935, 8 cylinder coupe, and turned the car over to a
leading car company of Canada, for testing.

2. Further reports claim the car achieved an astonishing 205.5
miles per gallon of gas. The car company “one of the big 3 in
Detroit” reportedly documented this performance in writing. The
same vehicle was then reportedly mileage tested by other
Canadian automotive agencies. Results, also reportedly
documented, were the same: over 200 MPG under average driving
conditions. One report stated, “It performed equal to, if not
better, than any car with a standard carburetor.”

3. According to a leading automotive journal, when the story
broke, the Toronto Stock Exchange was swamped with orders to
dump all oil stock.

4. Shortly thereafter allegations were made that, Pogue’s
carburetor “disappeared.” No further tests were conducted, no
fresh stories appeared in print. Did Pogue sell out? He
supposedly denied doing so. Yet in a short time, Pogue
(previously a man of reputed modest means), owned a factory that
manufactured oil filters. No Carburetors.

WE GET LETTERS

Below are a few letters we’ve received lately. Why would people
be writing back to us if the vaporizing principle was a hoax?
These people are just like you and I. Not some huge corporation.
These are real people telling of their experiences with
vaporization. Listen to what they say.

G.D. of Il., writes that he has been offered a $100,000 a year
job to quit playing around with his hobby. We haven’t heard from
him for some time.

R.P. of Wisc., says he averages 80 MPG on his Oldsmobile
Toronado, He says he got as high as 149 MPG with his first
prototype model and is now working on another one to install in
a Chevy with 283 V8 that he expects to do better than 180 MPG
with.

R.C. of TX., Has on his device for more than a year now and has
applied for patent. He has been able to get as high as 110 MPG
under some testing, but normally the average is not quite that
good. He has had a couple of mechanics helping him and has
worked out just about every problem anyone could think of ever
having in a system of this type. He has been in touch with us
quite often during his research and he now feels that the device
is about ready to market. He is looking for backers if you might
be interested, get in touch with him.

R.G., of FL., Has been giving Seminars and claims to get 45 to
65 MPG on a 1976 Cadillac with 425 cid V8 engine.

B.W. of W.V., has been working on these things for several
years. He now has been working on these things for several
years. He now has three different carburetors and one of them
gets him 60 MPG on his Chrysler Cordoba. Last we heard about him
was that he was going into production and market one of the
carbs at about $250.

If you’re interest in contacting these people we have names,
addresses and in some cases phone numbers listed in our new
update. Available when you purchase the manual.

SOMETHING BOTHERS ME!

HOW ABOUT YOU?

If the Pogue story is true, why isn’t it on the market? Surely
then it must be a hoax. Anything with that type of gas savings
should go into production immediately to make the U.S.A. energy
strong and reduce inflation by leaps and bounds. And the Leader
of every nation should be pushing for mass production of

these devices. Yet from 1936 to the present date no 200 MPG
CARBURETOR is in production on a mass scale and the Pogue Patent
is now expired. Anyone can build it now. What can all this mean
to you? As stated before decide for yourself! Can we get America
motivated to overcome these sinister forces that

don’t even want you to read about the Patent Drawings &
Descriptions of Pogue

(now expired), plus many more Drawings & Descriptions of other
pioneering inventors.

Ford, Mercury Adjust $60 More From Stickers

03 April 2010 Categories: general

The Ford Motor Co. is set to cut $60 more from its sticker prices on its current auto lineup. This will be done while enhancing standard options on vehicles. Ford and Mercury vehicles’ stickers will be adjusted to attract more customers and at the same time curb incentive spending.

According to Ford, “Being competitive in today’s marketplace requires competitive content and competitive pricing. We believe we have an outstanding plan to stabilize and regain sales and market share.” The automaker along with General Motors and Chrysler Group, are dependent upon sales incentives like employee pricing promotions, cash rebates, and interest-free loans to further the promotion of the vehicles.

One of the primary reasons behind the adjustment of sticker prices is that when consumers shop on the Internet, they might not be aware of all the sales incentive programs. This could make the American models seem less competitive than they really are.

Ford will also be selling Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX without cash rebates. According to Cisco Codina, group vice president of North American marketing, sales and service, “But it will be low enough to attract retail customers without added cash on the hood.” He added, “Our intent is to have good leases and good pricing. We don’t plan to have any visible cash on those vehicles.”

The 2007 Ford Edge is powered by all-new 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle features an intelligent all-wheel-drive system with MacPherson struts in the front and a four-link independent rear suspension to boost handling and drive feel. The interior features a center console that can hold a laptop computer. The vehicle also boasts of its panoramic Vista Roof, a segment-first MP3 audio jack and six-way power-heated adjustable front seats. The Lincoln MKX crossover, on the other hand, is built more like a car than a truck. However, it offers more space for cargoes as well as higher seating position of SUV. The crossover shares its basic structure with its siblings – the Ford Edge and the Lincoln MKZ. It is built at Ford’s Oakville Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada.

Through the announcement of the vehicles’ prices was held in abeyance, it is expected that the Ford Edge will carry a base in the mid-$20,000 range while the Lincoln vehicle in the mid-$30,000 range.

In connection with Mercury lineup, the 2007 Milan will carry a base in the mid-$20,000 range and the 2007 Mariner will be priced a bit higher. The Mercury Milan, midsize sedan built on the Ford CD3 platform, is deemed the upscale version of the Ford Fusion. It is equipped with LED taillights, front and rear fascia designs and refined interior. The Mariner, conversely, uses upgraded Mercury car parts to enhance its appearance and performance. The vehicle can be likened to the Ford Escape however it is also equipped with stylistic differences like the monotone cladding, European-style turn signal repeaters, two-tone interior and the exclusive waterfall front grille.

The strategy of Ford to price its lineup closer to expected transaction prices is aimed at reducing heavy incentives that minimize resale values. Nonetheless, cash rebates can’t always be avoided. As a fact, the 2006 Ford Fusion sedan was introduced carrying a $1,000 cash incentive. Codina added the automaker expects to sell 120,000 units of the Edge annually. He did not give a volume projection for the MKX.

“The Edge can achieve that level of sales in part by hanging on to consumers leaving SUVs. They often are looking at crossovers, and the Edge can help keep buyers who once drove Ford Explorers in Ford showrooms,” Codina noted. “We have a huge owner base as it relates to mid-sized SUVs, and the migration is from that to this. So that’s also encouraging for us.”

With Videoconferencing, You Belong.

03 April 2010 Categories: general

Who hasn’t heard of videoconferencing? It is singularly responsible for many technological breakthroughs in business, law, and government. More importantly, it has become a very powerful social glue for keeping family, friends, and lovers together. And, as videoconferencing sees wider use, more and more people are reaping the benefits of videoconferencing. Real Stories, Real People
Marge hasn’t seen her husband or her daughter for four years now. She left her country behind for greener pastures. But now, thanks to benefits of video-conferencing, she can see through a tiny monitor her little daughter’s face and beautiful little reminders of home.
Debbie is studying culinary arts in Paris. She will be getting her certificate in a month. This will be a very memorable occasion for her, and although her mom and dad are half a world away in Bangkok, she knows the benefits of videoconferencing. Her family can see her as she walks up that podium to accept her certificate.
Mike has fallen deeply in love with a girl halfway around the world, and though they haven’t seen each other face to face, he knows how she looks. This, he knows, is one benefit of video conferencing. It brings him glimpses of his sweetheart through a 21-inch video screen.
The benefits of videoconferencing, particularly in bridging families and connecting lives, have been nothing short of staggering. It’s very cost-effective, so people do not have to spend on prohibitively expensive airfare, or take unnecessary vacations. Airfare and time off work might seem little things at first, but like debt, they accumulate. You just might find yourself frittering away your pension or kissing that promotion goodbye after taking one trip too many to, say, Amsterdam. Real Time, Face to Face
Another benefit of videoconferencing is real-time face to face communication. Experts believe communication of this nature is crucial to the continuity and vitality of any kind of relationship. Too often, distance has resulted in broken families and broken engagements. To nourish a relationship, all integral components have to be present – constant contact, emotional connection, kinship through shared blood ties and interests. Videoconferencing narrows the location gap. In so doing, it strengthens relationships.Love, from Across the Seas
Today, expatriates, overseas workers, travelers, and migrants can connect to their loved ones with a click of a button. That they’re able to do this at all is priceless, and is yet another testament to how greatly humanity has enjoyed the benefits of videoconferencing. After all, no matter who we are, what we do, or where we are at present, we all have families we wish to come home to.
Understandably, video interaction is a poor substitute for physical contact. Thirty minutes spent talking is nothing compared to a hug. When you’re in Africa and your family is in Canada, however, video interaction is as important a lifeline as calls and emails. More than just giving us the means to hear and be heard, videoconferencing helps us celebrate family and the concept of belonging. It helps us reaffirm ties that exist in our minds and hearts.
So, whether you’re in a quaint little bistro in Paris, or knee-deep in snow in an alpine village, or driving massive trucks under a sweltering Dubai sun, videoconferencing can bring you home – if only for an hour or a minute.

Ski Resorts are your Gateways to Nature

02 April 2010 Categories: general

Ski resorts can be found in most of the fifty states and in British Columbia and Alberta Canada. The larger ski resorts that offer challenging on and off piste four season alpine sports are California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Montana, Vermont, New York, Connecticut. However small ski resorts and surroundings can offer the same products for outdoor enthusiasts with less crowds.

Backcountry and slope side opportunities are abundant since ski resorts are established on mountain ranges and often in high altitude. Winter opportunities such as slope side and off piste alpine skiing, snowboarding and off trail showshoeing and cross country skiing is abundant. For the other three seasons itâ??s â??choose your passionâ? whether it be mountaineering, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, trail running, backpacking, camping or just plain exploring. Whether in bounds or out of bounds is your comfort zone a vast multitude of outdoor opportunities await you in and around ski resorts.

Getting to nature and nearby ski resorts depends on your choice of outdoor enjoyment. If you would prefer to be playing on the slopes and they are not within reach then air travel and renting a car may be your choice of travel. However, if tent camping, or roughing it and being in the throes of nature sounds more appetizing with backpacking then a car with a rack may serve you best. And if you prefer more amenities so that you can spend more time in nature with the kids then consider renting a truck camper or pop up camper or full size recreational vehicle. Ski resorts are year round and are there for natureâ??s enjoyment in the winter and for spring, summer and fall.

Using ski resorts as geographical landmarks can get you to nature in the warm months when the skiing is over. Getting to the alpine may take a little effort, but the connection with nature is worth it.

The Easiest Way is to Be First

02 April 2010 Categories: general

In Positioning: The Battle for Your Mind (2001), Al Ries & Jack Trout throw out an interesting proposition. Their message to anyone whoâ??s trying to market a product or service is that the easy way to get into a personâ??s mind is to be first. They say: â??You just got to be firstâ?.

Hereâ??s the example they come up with. Ask anyone, â??Whatâ??s the name of the first person to walk on the moon?â? Youâ??re bound to get a few Neil Armstrongâ??s, especially given that 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of this momentous event. Now ask anyone who answered correctly, â??Whatâ??s the name of the second person to walk on the moon?â? Let them squirm all you like; youâ??re not going to get a second answer out of anyone.

People rank to remember. And if they choose to not remember who comes in 2nd or 3rd, itâ??s probably more of a sub-conscious choice, rather than memory-related. After all, would you really want to deal with the 2nd best in your field? Probably not. First is better, by a long shot. Ries & Trout give this piece of marketing advice: â??Be a big fish in a small pondâ?. You want to be the biggest fish, even if youâ??re swimming in a puddle this is because you can always increase the size of the pond once youâ??ve established your predatory status as being no. 1. You just donâ??t want to end up being a small fish in a big pond. In the world of marketing, this is called positioning.

With an idea like this, itâ??s no wonder that Ries & Ries, have earned no. 1 ranking in the marketing seminars market, as being the one-and-only company to use gynmorous slide shows. Watch one of their presentations, and youâ??ll be looking at on average 300 slides an hour, and up to 1,800 slides a day, if youâ??re attending a day-long seminar. Now thatâ??s got to be an interesting event to sit through. They sell their presentations like going to the movies, with a bit of suspense, comedy, intrigue and education.

So whoâ??s no. 1 in the trucking world? You might have to do a 180? turn-around from where youâ??ve been looking to find them, but theyâ??re definitely well-entrenched in their marketplace. i80 Equipment (www.i80equipment.com) has been the #1 supplier of quality reconditioned trucks, servicing the construction, sign and lighting, telecommunications, tree care, and utility industries. They have over 50 trucks in stock, including used altec bucket trucks, forestry trucks, boom trucks, crane trucks and digger derrick trucks.

And so how do you get to be no. 1 in the trucking world? Itâ??s not having close to 20 years in operation that makes your no. 1. Although this helps. And itâ??s not knowing your trucks that makes you no. 1. Although this helps too. Itâ??s standing by your trucks that does it. I-80 Equipment wonâ??t put a truck on the road without a 77point inspection, followed by an external inspection and certification process. They are masters of the reconditioning process and their focus is on safety first. Sign up for email alerts of new acquisitions on their expanding lot. Consult with them to buy your bucket truck today!

Tonka Toy Work Vehicles: Built To Last A Lifetime…Literally

01 April 2010 Categories: general

Why do kids keep choosing Tonka Trucks for over 60 years?  Well in this short article, I will tell you why children (and grown men) love Tonka trucks so much. First, let’s start with the obvious.  Tonka trucks are sturdy, especially the notorious yellow working vehicles.  After all, they were built on this premise when the company started way back in 1947.  And let’s not lie to ourselves, most kids love to “get dirty” and push their toys to the limit.  So, a solid truck is a must. Now, how sad would you be if your brand new toy broke from “normal” (rough) play?  Well, I remember when I was a kid, it was the worst moment of my life (remember this is according to a child)!  All children care about is if it works when it’s playtime and if it has a cool look.  But the parent who invested in the toy wants it to last so the kid cannot use that as an excuse to get another toy.  So durability is what Tonka has been providing for over 60 years.  This adds huge play value to a Tonka and that is what parents want if they are going to spend their hard earned cash on a toy.

Tonka is so sure their trucks will last they give you a LIFETIME guarantee (not all Tonka’s have this so look for it).  This sets any doubt about buying of buying a “piece of junk” aside.  Remember, if you want a toy truck that last, look for the free-wheeling working vehicles that are made of 20-gauge automotive grade steel.  It’s these types trucks that built the motto “Tonka Tough.”OK, moving on.  Now it’s true that most kids don’t choose their toy trucks because of their durability. This brings me to the second core reason kids love Tonka trucks.  The size of the truck.Almost everyone, and especially kids, are awestruck by the sheer size of things.  Thus, when kids see the the huge tires, scooper, dump bed, etc. on a Tonka, they are instantly attracted to it. Tonka first started out with only two styles of vehicles, namely a working steam shovel and a crane.  Although Tonka has expanded into many types of toys, it’s these heavy duty working type vehicle that have always been associated with Tonka.  Thus, when most people hear the word Tonka they think of MONSTER work trucks that you see on a Discovery Channel show titled “Mega Machines.” Kids love to watch these massive machines perform incredible feats.  They would just just be thrilled to death if they could jump into a real massive working machine and experience the sheer size and power.  But, you would be one of the lucky ones if you could actually experience a real life “Tonka.”.  So, what’s the next best thrill to a real mega machine?  A toy Tonka truck.  And Tonka has been supplying this thrill for kids for over 60 years.

The World of RVing.Ever want to leave home and become full-time RVers?Does it cost a lot of money to live this adventurous lifestyle?Visit the web site of www.JMPelley.org and see how John and Maggie Pelley, The Geriatric Gypsies, do this.  They drive a 2000 Ford F350 one ton dually diesel powered truck and tow behind them a 33 foot Fleetwood Avion fifth-wheel trailer with two slide outs. They have been on the road since May 2002.  Their plan was to start on the East Coast and head West.  They barely left Park Forest in their shakedown trip when they hit a low hanging branch on the street, where they had lived.  This minor inconvenience ended up with a new roof being installed on their trailer and a postponed trip East.  The furthest East they got that year was Michigan and Indiana.? At their site you will find tips about full-timing RVing.  How to choose a RV.  How to communicate with friends.  Where to receive mail. Checklists for entering or leaving a campsite.  Do it yourself tips.  Where to shop.  Where to park. Where to find instant communities.  How to live on a limited budget.  How to avoid the learning curve.  They are always interested in finding more tips about the RV lifestyle.  If you have any contact them at Johnpelley@JMPelley.org.? Canada: New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec. They have found in their travels many ideas and facts, which they were never taught in school, even with two Masters degrees.? They believe in living green and being Eco-friendly.  Living the RV life has taught them to take care of the planet and better care of themselves.  They have found companies who think like them. For more Eco-friendly information see www.Sunpowereddreams.com, www.greenhomebuilding.com, and www.dreamgreenhomes.com, and wind power.? Learn how to volunteer.  National Parks, State Parks, and other agencies are always looking for volunteers.  For full-time RVers, many will provide a campsite with electric, water, and sewer facilities for three days of work or “play” at the park.  No matter what your expertise might be, the Parks are always looking for help: campground hosts, interpretation, maintenance, administration, computers, visitor center help, etc.? Enjoy some of the music that they love.  John has a CD of Native American flute music, which people find very soothing and relaxing. Teachers use it in their classrooms to help their students study.  Many have found the music suitable for meditation. Featured too are other music and links to music, which are available as they travel.? They offer products for sale, which will enhance your traveling experiences: CDs, fleece blankets, dream catchers, etc.  New items appear regularly.

Snowplow For Sale -What To Look For

01 April 2010 Categories: general

So you are looking for a used snowplow truck to buy? Hey what the hell itâ??s less then a new snowplow truck. Is it really? I guess that all depends on what you are doing and what you are looking at to buy. The first thing I would have to think about if I was looking to buy a used snowplow truck, is what am I going to do with it? Will the snowplow truck be used for just my driveway? Will it be used for a residential snowplow account, mainly driveway work?. Or are you subcontracted by a municipality for snow removal on major road ways. The answer to this questions is of major importants. OK, for the first application if your plowing just you own driveway an older snowplow truck that is being retired is fine, as long as all the major components work proper like the brakes, 4 wd, and the snowplow it self. If you are doing residential work you want thoroughly check out the snowplow truck prior to buying because now that truck is your reputation.Homeowners do not like to be told their driveway wonâ??t be ready for them to go to work because your truck broke down. So when you are looking for a snowplow truck for sale you want to check out all the major components. Also run the plow makes sure everything works as it is suppose to. The other thing to keep in mind the brand of the truck, yes thatâ??s right. You do not want to buy a snowplow truck that is a special model because you will feel the pain when you need to get a part for it and you have to wait a few days instead of being in stock. Remember the auto parts stores stock what sells best not what doesnâ??t. The next thing to consider is if you are subcontracted by a municipality, this is usually being paid be the hour for your snowplow truck and you. Remember, this is not start and stop type of plowing this is usually continuous plowing on town road ways. They will usually give you a certain section in your town to plow. When you are looking at snowplows for sale , you again want to keep this in mind. You do not want a six foot snowplow, you will want a truck with an 8â?? foot snowplow blade and with a rubber deflector. Good luck trying to plow a roadway with out a snowplow deflector on it at 30 mph or better. If you are looking at snowplow for sale this is what to look at, and do, pre-trip the truck first of all and that should cover all lights , tires ect. Then get on your creeper and start looking underneath check drive shafts, brake lines, cooler lines, wiring harness, fuel tank straps, exhaust and exhaust hangers, and check for fluid leaks. DO this inspection with the engine cold and then at operating temperature. After dong that then cycle the plow many times not just once or twice why?, because, it takes a few cycles to warm up the hydraulic oil in the the snowplows system and then thatâ??s usually when the seals start to leak, and need to be replaced. After the inspection, if everything seems up to snuff and in good working order then make the seller a fair offer. Try not to wait to long, because if the truck is in good shape and everything is fine someone will buy it. Time is money you do no want to spend the plow season looking for a truck especially if you found what you are looking for. I will come out with more on this topic on our snowplow Blog in the next few weeks in the mean, time happy hunting.
